| Well.....Tuesday evening it started to snow. The past couple of years it seems like Auburn gets a dusting of snow every winter. (Last year was cool because it snowed on Saturday night which meant snowball fight after Sunday morning services.) The snow decided to stick around and I woke up to a blanket of snow outside. (Study both pictures. You will notice something different.) Through out the evening I would go outside to see if it was still snowing and noticed that a large bush decided to grow legs and move. (Maybe global warming?) Taking a closer look a big oak tree decided to give into the law of gravity. I suspect that with the rain fall from the last week saturating the ground and the snow that accumulated on the branches made the tree too top heavy and down she went. It doesn't look like much from the seeing the branches but it was a nice size oak tree from the back. My mom almost got her new roof too it was about three feet away from it. By Wednesday afternoon snow was all melted and back to normal.

| Well..... I think my Dad (currently working on 27 years as a mailman) has found his potential retirement job. He can trade the mailman title for "Karaoke King." Over Thanksgiving weekend my mom went out and purchased a karaoke device that directly connects into your T.V. This past Friday I hooked it up for my mom to try out while I was out for the evening. Personally I think the karaoke device wasn't worth the money all of the songs were played on the keyboard (it wasn't actually the real music.) On Saturday my mom tells me that dad spent over an hour and a half singing on the karaoke device. Thats right... an hour and a half. That shocked me and blew me away. I never would have thought my dad would spend and hour and half singing karaoke. There was a lot of songs from the 60's so I figured he was remembering his teenage years. If he hangs up the mailbag for the mic WATCH OUT! The Karaoke King might be coming to a city near you! Please check your local senior section of your newspaper to see when the Karaoke King will be coming to entertain a rest home near you.
Profile Picture Info: This pic was taken at the top of Mount Haleakala in Maui. Its over 10,000 ft tall. It reminds me of outer space on top.
Shout Out! Just wanted to say Hey! to George Duponte and Joe Connor. Xanga number #1 and #2 Lurkers.
